[Haikou, September 27, 2025] As a key platform for exchange and cooperation in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry, the 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) opens today. Volkswagen Group China made a high-profile appearance with its Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche brands, showcasing the latest achievements of its “In China, for China” strategy in electrification and intelligent connectivity. Since 2019, the Group has participated in this top influential platform for the NEV industry in China, for seven consecutive years. For seven years, the congress has provided us with a premium platform for us to stay attuned to industry trends, foster industrial exchange and collaboration, and showcase our latest strategic achievements. AURA, a compact sedan developed specifically for the Chinese market, based on the CMP platform and the CEA electronic and electrical architecture. At the meantime, Audi will bring two highly anticipated new models, including the Audi Q6L e-tron, an intelligent electric flagship SUV built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), and the first volume-production model of the new AUDI brand - the AUDI E5 Sportback. Additionally, marking its exhibition debut at the World New Energy Vehicle Congress, Porsche presented two all-electric highlight cars – the Taycan GTS and the Macan 4 Active – and unveiled the newly-developed, next-generation China-exclusive in-car infotainment system.
